What is a Dental Veneer?
A dental veneer is a thin piece of material that can be used to reshape or alter the appearance of your natural teeth. Dental veneers are very versatile and can be used to repair the appearance of tooth damage if your teeth have become broken, chipped, or cracked. They can also be used to make your teeth look straighter, and brighter, or to correct natural tooth defects. Using veneers for teeth, we can makeover your smile and help you achieve the perfect, celebrity smile you’ve always wanted.
Our porcelain veneers are made with a fine quality porcelain that perfectly matches the appearance of your natural teeth. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of your smile makeover without people knowing you have veneers. Veneers for teeth are perfectly comfortable to wear and are maintained with the same flossing and brushing as your regular teeth. Our veneers are custom tailored for each patient. We make veneers based on each patient’s unique specifications to better meet their smile goals.
The Dental Veneers Procedure
- During your first appointment, Dr. Cochran will meet with you to discuss your needs and how many porcelain veneers it will take to accomplish them. He will be able to answer any questions you might have and to prepare you for the procedures.
- Before a veneer is placed, Dr. Cochran will prep your teeth for their veneers. This preparation is required so that the veneer will stay in place and feel comfortable on your teeth.
- Once your teeth are prepped, Dr. Cochran will place temporary veneers for you to wear while your permanent porcelain veneers are being shaped.
- At your next appointment, Dr. Cochran will place your permanent veneers, and you will be able to walk out of the office with a confident, beautiful, professional smile.
